At long last, it’s the weekend! The SoBe Vegan family knows the importance of sitting back, taking a breath, and enjoying time with our loved ones. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to visit a new place, but you’re not sure where to go, we can help. Here are a few great spots nearby our SoBe Florida restaurant you can check out!
South Pointe Park
Why not stop by the beach? Located at 1 Washington Avenue, South Pointe Park is a beautiful spot to have some fun in the sun and watch passing cruise ships. This area also includes pathways to walk through, a leash-less dog park, and a small water-themed playground to cool down!
South Shore Branch Library
If you’d like a more quiet option to learn more about history, culture, and other interesting topics, stop by South Shore’s library. Like most libraries, it includes areas for children, computers, and other special events. Make sure to bring your library card or register for one if you don’t already have your own!
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park
Another option close to the beach, this park is enclosed and geared towards younger children. Parents can interact with them within the park as well as supervise in the shade as needed. Best of all, it’s open every day so there’s no need to wait for the weekend to come back!
Miami Children’s Museum
Our last choice is a place that mixes fun and creativity with learning. The museum hosts different events each month along with their 17 themed rooms and a special “traveling” exhibit. No matter when you go, every trip is sure to be an adventure!
